My mother is my idol, my confidante and my best friend. She is a very strong and independent woman who held her family together during the toughest of times. She is the architect and builder of our home, the balance between the children and the head of the family. She gave her all to us, and never asked for anything in return. Her unconditional love and selfless actions are the foundation of our family. She taught me the importance of being strong and standing up for myself even when life gets tough. She encouraged me to never give up and to always strive for excellence. I admire her for not only being there for me but for being there for everyone else too. I am so lucky to have a mother who I can call my hero in more ways than one. Without her, I would not have the strength and ambition to carry myself through life. My mother is my rock, my protector and my biggest cheerleader. Her selflessness, devotion and faith in God is an inspiration for me always. I can never thank her enough for all she has done and continues to do for her family. All I can do is show her my love and loyalty in return. I just hope that one day, I can be even half as strong and devoted as she is and make her proud. Thank you, Mom, for always being the best mother and friend that I could ever ask for.
